Description

A delicious and refreshing slaw perfect for your Easter table. The balance of sweet and savory makes this a version worthy of a King or Queen. And the addition of jalapeno and tart apples is brilliant! But don't just take my word for it, make it and see for yourself.

  1. Prep your cabbages, apples, jalapeno and celery by cutting them into matchstick size pieces and having them ready and waiting in the refrigerator.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Dijon mustard, white sugar, vinegar, cayenne pepper, salt and celery seeds.

Taste the dressing and adjust according to your preferred taste.

  4. Pour the dressing over the salad a little at a time, tossing to coat evenly. You can use more or less dressing depending on your preference.
